Last night Gabe said to me, "Mom, when I look at you, you look like the most beautiful angel just sitting in the country."

We're going to have lunch with Auntie Auntie today in Boston. When Gabe woke up this morning, the first thing that he said was, "Mom, I need to wear my work clothes today because I'm going to Boston to my work, so I need my work clothes."

My Sweet Sons
The other night after bath, I was cleaning up the kitchen and looked over to find the boys like this:
Gabe had pulled their beanbag chairs in front of the TV so that they could watch their show together. I love how they have their own little brother life together.
PTO Night At Mall Tots
The PTO sponsored an evening at Mall Tots last week. The kids played and then ate pizza and cupcakes for dinner. Gabe was thrilled to see Joseph and some of his other school friends. Zach had a great time, too. Gabe's school mate, Nicole, loves to play with Zach - it's super cute to watch. We're so blessed with our new community!

Two Different Boys
When I was vacuuming this past week, I laughed at how different my two little boys are. Ever since Gabe was a wee little guy, he's loved the vacuum cleaner. We have videos of him at 10 months of age, moving his feet excitedly while making a grunting noise at the sight and sound of the vacuum. Zach, on the other hand, has never been a fan of the vacuum. He runs out of the room and won't return until it's put away. Last week, I caught him hiding in the fireplace when I was vacuuming in the other room. And when I went to vacuum the playroom, he needed me to carry him out and around the vacuum cleaner. He didn't even want to walk past it! Of course, Gabe was all up in the mix, helping me clean like nobody's business.
"I dared. I no like vacuum."
A Walk In The Deep, Dark Woods
We finally took our walk in the deep, dark woods today! We went to the Lynn Reservation Woods (only 3 miles from our house!) and took a really nice walk/hike up to a stone tower and around the water reservoir. The boys had a blast! It was fun to watch them run, hike, find pine cones and sticks, and walk Henry. We're definitely going to make the woods part of our new activity routine. Here are the cute pics:
