Gabe's been waiting anxiously for his cousins to arrive. Yesterday when he woke up and heard that they weren't coming over until after nap, he wanted to go back to bed and sleep all day, thinking that they'd get here faster. When they arrived after lunch, Gabe was too excited to nap, so he and Chloe played together straight until almost 7:00 PM!
I guess when Chloe arrived, she announced to Gabe that she was the "guest". In her house, her mom reminds her that when she has a friend over to play, the friend is the "guest" and should be allowed to play with any toy, etc. Well, in response to Chloe announcing that she was the guest, Gabe stated, "you're bossy." Seriously? I've never even used the word "bossy". We use fresh - not bossy. Despite this initial exchange, Gabe & Chloe really got along well. Chloe was very good to Gabe, who wanted to do EVERYTHING (and say everything) that she did.
Jonah and Zach had great naps, so we didn't get to spend as much time with Jonah as we would have liked. He's a whirlwind of curiosity, loves to play and explore, and is SUPER affectionate. I got several hugs and kisses and loved every one of them. He's the kind of little guy that you just want to squeeze because he's so cute.
We're looking forward to more time with our cousins this week! Here are some pics:

Chloe doesn't understand the concept of candids. as soon as she sees the camera, she strikes a pose.
but, I think she realized that her Auntie's a crazy camera lady
okay, she's back on for the photo shoot
