A couple of times now, Gabe's asked if he's currently growing babies in his body. After I give him a brief explanation as to why he's not growing babies right now, he'll say, "I'm going to be a Daddy when I'm bigger and have babies." Yesterday, he was telling Zach (while we were playing with a doll in the playroom) that he and Zach were going to be Daddies when they're bigger. He added that he's going to be a good Daddy. I haven't even explained to him yet that he won't be the one to actually grow the baby in his body. But sweet, right?

We looked through a photo book today and Zach saw an old picture of Alanna (pre-marriage to Derek). He said, "me see Auntie Lanna. Where baby Drew?"

Gampa came for a visit this past weekend. The boys are always over the moon for Gampa. He left when the boys were napping, and when Zach woke up, he asked for Gampa right away. He first asked for Auntie Auntie (Melissa visited with us as well that day), and then he asked for Gampa. It's been almost a week since his visit and Zach's still asking, "where Dampa go?"

Twice now, Gabe's said that people (friends at school) make fun of him. (Breaks my heart into a million pieces to hear and even imagine.) I ask what people do, and he says something that I can't really understand. Anyway, when it happened today, I told him that I was surprised to hear that people were making fun of him since he's such a wonderful person. He said, "I am?" And I went on to tell him all of the reasons why he's a wonderful boy; he replied, "and I'm a wonderful human, too." Love him. Love.
