THIS IS NOT THE NORTH POLE!

Last night, I put our elf on one of our Christmas decorations - on a reindeer.  As I was upstairs getting ready this morning, I heard Gabe yelling from downstairs about Kim.  He then ran upstairs shouting that Kim was on top of the reindeer and that his knees were on the reindeer's back.  Gabe was livid.  He was aghast that Kim was sitting on one of our Christmas decorations.  I have no idea why he got so upset about this hiding spot.  I mean, we've put Kim inside a vase, inside our blinds, etc.  I actually thought it was kind of clever to put him on the reindeer because it seemed like a probable spot.  Not to Gabe (Gabe also did not like when Kim was sitting on the Christmas tree.  He thought the tree was too pointy and scratchy for Kim.).  I suppose Gabe was thinking that the decorations are special and that Kim shouldn't touch them...?

Anyway, I suggested to Gabe that maybe Kim thought that he was at the North Pole; that maybe Kim saw our reindeer decoration and thought that it was Rudolph.  I guess that explanation made sense to Gabe.  So, he went downstairs, and the next thing I know, I hear him yelling (in a chastising manner) up to Kim saying, "THIS IS NOT THE NORTH POLE.  WHY ARE YOU SITTING ON THE REINDEER.  THIS IS NOT THE NORTH POLE."

See the elf up there on the reindeer?

makes sense for him to sit there, no?
