Yesterday, Gabe suggested that we have pancakes for dinner some time. Why not tonight?, I asked. So, pancakes for dinner it was. Gabe asked for blueberry pancakes (thanks to the Nickelodeon show, "Mike The Knight" who ate pancakes for dinner recently), but we didn't have any blueberries; so, we made chocolate chip pancakes instead.
Man. Who knew how magical chocolate chip pancakes for dinner would be. Both Gabe and Zach were super cute. Super. Cute. As he was munching on his pancakes, Gabe asked me to come over so that he could give me a hug. It was a huge, strong hug. He then said, "Mom, I'm going to marry you. Come here for another hug." After the second strong hug, he said, "Mom, we're marrying each other right now." That boy was just glowing as he ate his pancakes.
Seeing Gabe giving me hugs inspired Zach to give hugs, too. So much fun! Aside from the hugging and talk of marriage (which I obviously got a huge kick out of), the way that Zach was saying chocolate chips might have been the cutest thing that I've ever heard. He says, "sock-lit sippies". Gah! And it's in the sweetest sounding little voice, too. Thank you, sock-lit sip pancakes!
