Some Kids Have Lovies...

Zach has a donut.

Neither one of my boys got attached to a blankie or lovey or special stuffed animal, even when I put a few lovies in their cribs early on.  Gabe seems to attach to EVERYTHING, and his bed at present is a good representation of that fact.  He has at least 15 stuffed animals, 5 books, a couple pairs of shoes, a few trucks, and a sippy cup in his bed on any given day.

Zach, as we all know, is VERY attached to his pacifier.  He's been known to push the paci around the train track, to demand one paci for his mouth and another for his hand, and to rub his face lovingly with a spare paci.

In addition to Zach's paci, he now has a plastic donut.  He's been carrying around this donut for DAYS now.  It goes to bed with him at night, it takes naps with him during the day, and it pretty much never leaves his pudgy fist all day, except when he puts it down momentarily.  Otherwise, the donut is in one hand all (I repeat, ALL) day.  Like with the paci, Zach even pushes the donut around the train track.  At times, he's been known to balance a toy, the donut, his sippy cup, and a book all at once, rather than parting with the donut for a minute.  When he drops the donut; forget it.  That boy sobs and screams for his beloved.  And, the donut goes in the car with us and sometimes makes it into a store or wherever we're going.  Remarkably, Zach has not lost his donut.

A Bazillion Pictures from the Weekend

It was a busy weekend.  We went to Drew's 1st birthday party on Saturday and then to the Dawson Easter celebration on Sunday.  For Gabe, this meant getting to spend a lot of time with his cousin, Cameron, whom he adores!  They are really cute together.

Here are the pictures:
I turned around for a second, and Jason turned Zach into Mr. High Pants

Remember Mr. High pants?
