Are You Kidding Me?

I don't know why I still get so surprised.  For some reason, I do.  Surprised and maybe a little bit scared, too.  Cuz Gabe's memory is redonkulus (as Tee Tee likes to say).

Backstory:  the potty in the boys' bathroom is separated from the rest of the bathroom by a pocket door.  Unfortunately, there's no pull for the door, so we don't close it.  This is one of the projects that we're planning to ask J's dad to fix when he visits.  Thanks, Lou!

Months ago, Gabe asked me to shut the door, and I explained to him why we can't shut the door but that we plan to ask Tuppa Poppa (a.k.a. Jason's dad) to fix it.  This was months ago.  We talked about this once.  Again, I mentioned that we plan to ask Tuppa Poppa to fix this door once.  Once, people!

Today, we talked to Tuppa Poppa on the phone.  Right after saying hello to Tuppa Poppa, Gabe told Tuppa Poppa that he needs to fix the potty door.  At first, I thought he said party door.  Then, I thought he was talking about the toilet seat (one of them doesn't work exactly properly, and for weeks after we moved in Gabe would announce that it was broken every single time that he used the potty [which factored to about 5 times a day, every day, for weeks and weeks[).  It's so easy to digress.  Anyway, I finally figured it out.  Gabe was talking about the pocket door in their bathroom.  I could not believe it.  I mean, I've forgotten a long time ago that the door needs to be fixed.  This kid scares me.  In a good way.  I think....
