We had a great Memorial Day weekend. We went to Salem Willows, Crane's Beach, and the Museum of Science. I don't have time to blog, but I do want to share a couple of shots from the weekend.

Swingset Playdate
Our friends, Ruby & Reid, had us over for a backyard playdate today to try out their new swingset. Hard to believe that this was our first springtime backyard playdate. The kids loved being outside, playing with a rock garden, throwing balls, waving toy golf clubs in the air, and climbing on the new swingset.
Here are the pictures:

A Trip To Wilson Farm
The boys and I went to Wilson Farm yesterday morning. The sun was shining, it was warm, and I almost didn't know what to do with myself after all of the rain and cold weather that we've had. I'm so glad that we ventured to Lincoln to visit the farm. It's an amazing place with great animals and walking trails. I had just as much fun as the boys.

Zach's turn
"it says it's not time to leave because it's not getting late." (what Gabe said that the sign said)
"A cow has four stomachs." (he's a genius)

A Morning At The Butterfly Place
We went to the Butterfly Place in Westford this morning with our friend Noah and his Mom. It's yet another rainy day in Boston, and we needed to get out of the house.
When I went to Florida in March to celebrate Melissa's birthday, the woman who cared for the boys actually took them to the Butterfly Place. I guess Gabe was afraid of the butterflies at that visit. This time, he wasn't afraid, but he would wave his hand vigorously while yelling, "shoo" at them. You're not supposed to touch the butterflies or the flowers inside the (very hot and steamy) butterfly house; but it was hard for Gabe and Noah to follow those rules. Even Zach had a hard time, since he wanted to pull all of the leaves and flowers out of the garden beds.
All in all, it was a good time. It's pretty fun to see the butterflies fluttering all around, and they are so beautiful.
