Quite

Here's one of those things that I've said a few times that Gabe's now using in his everyday language.  Quite.  And it's super cute when you hear it.  Here are a few examples:


At dinner....

• Me:  Are you done with dinner, Gabe?  
• Gabe:  Not quite, Mom.

While watching TV....

Gabe:  I can't quite hear it, Mom.

Trying to get out of the house....

• Me:  Let's go, guys.
• Gabe:  I'm not quite ready, Mom.

Working on a puzzle...

Gabe:  I can't quite do it, Mom.

Looking for a specific toy...

Gabe:  I can't quite find it, Mom.
