I Have A Hypothesis

So, thanks to some really educational shows and some great genes, Gabe is brilliant.  Sorry to brag, but he really blows me away.

Tonight, we read one of his favorite dinosaur books before bedtime.  As we were reading about the T-Rex, Gabe asked why he was the "king" of all dinosaurs.  Here's how it went:

Gabe:  Why was T-Rex the king of all of the dinosaurs?

Me:  Because he was the strongest.  He was like the boss of all of the other dinosaurs.

Gabe:  Why?

Me:  I don't know.  That's just how he was made.

Gabe:  Mom, I think I have a hypothesis. 

Me:  Okay, love.  Tell me what it is.

Gabe:  I think he was the king and the strongest because he ate meat and that's what made him so strong.

Me:  You know what, buddy?  You are the smartest boy.  You are exactly right!


Come on!!!  Thanks to the PBS show, Dinosaur Train, Gabe now knows exactly what a hypothesis is....and he uses it in the appropriate context.  He's a genius!  The End.
