So, I turned the never-ending "why" questioning around on Gabe today.  We were playing cars.  Gabe was the Daddy car, and I was the little boy car.  Gabe put my car into the tub (in the doll house) and told me that I needed a bath.  Here's how it went:
Me:  Why do I need a bath?
Gabe: Because you're dirty.
Me:  Why am I dirty?
Gabe:  Because we drove through the mud.
Me:  Why did we drive through the mud?
Gabe:  Because there's mud on the road.
Me:  Why is there mud on the road?
Gabe:  Because it rained.
Me:  Why did it rain?
Gabe:  Because the plants need water.
Me:  Why do the plants need water?
Gabe:  Because they're thirsty.
Me:  Why are the plants thirsty?
Gabe:  Because of the sun.
Me:  Why because of the sun?
Gabe:  They're hot with the sun.
Me:  Why are they hot?
Gabe:  They need rain.
Me:  Why do they need rain?
Gabe:  Because they need mud.
Pretty amazing, right?
He's seriously brilliant.
