I Love You, Moon
Some times, too many cute things are said all at once, and I lose most of it. I get so caught up in the moment, so amazed at how cute Gabe is, that the funny things are lost. Tonight was one of those times. I was cleaning up the kitchen after dinner and the boys were playing at the train table (have I told you that I love that train table - thank you, Mosey!). Gabe came running into the kitchen, yelling, "Mom, I have to show you something." He was so excited. I thought he'd unearthed some long lost beloved toy. Instead, he came running into the dining room, pointed out the window and said, "Mom, I found the moon (we'd been looking for it earlier in the evening) and you have to see it. It's so beautiful." I looked out the window, and sure enough, the moon was full, yellow, huge and beautiful. We then went into the playroom to look at it from the other windows. He told Zach to look at the beautiful moon, and Zach looked at it, too. Gabe then started jumping up and down with joy in front of the window saying, "I love you, Moon. You are so beautiful. Why are you so full? Did you eat so much food? Oh, moon." He said other funny things, but they're lost. It was one of those moments.
